create the best results, we strive to provide many ways to develop, grow, and
advance through formal and on-the-job learning opportunities.
For all new consultants this begins with a one-week intensive basic skills course in Gemini tools and techniques.
Consistent with our culture that values people, we do our best to ensure that
our consultants have ample time to spend with their families and friends away
from the workplace. Recognising that the consulting lifestyle can be
difficult on people who are raising families, we also strive to provide
flexible working conditions and we have instituted programmes that help
support families.
One such programme that we have pioneered is Flexforce, a sabbatical and
reduced work schedule programme that enables team members to take time off to
refresh or rejuvenate while remaining part of the Gemini team. Team
members have used the added time afforded by the Flexforce programmes to
travel, complete components of their education, spend time with their
families, and undertake fulfilling community service work.
To help ensure that team members always have a place to turn to when they
need professional or personal assistance, Gemini also operates several
unique human resource programmes. Our mentor program matches all
consultants with a senior advisor in the firm who helps them navigate
their career choices and individual development within the company. Our
Ombudsman program, which is the only one of its kind in our industry, provides
a resource for counsel and help with work-related problems that may prove
difficult to resolve alone.
At Gemini, our people know that if they have problems of any kind, there is
always a confidential resource to turn to for help.
